Safe-T-Vue - The Future Of Temperature Monitoring

Safe-T-Vue temperature indicators are heat-sensitive and easily adhere directly to blood bags. Purposefully designed to help blood banks and transfusion services improve compliance and preserve valuable blood supplies. The indicators are a cost-effective, reliable and simple way to help ensure quality control during storage and transportation of blood products such as red blood cells, whole blood and plasma.

When attached directly to blood bags during refrigeration, transport and temporary storage, Safe-T-Vue® temperature-sensitive blood temperature indicators provide a visual indication when blood products, plasma and red blood cells RBCs have reached or exceed 6°C or 10°C. Because they are nonreversible, Safe-T-Vue products will indicate that a higher temperature condition existed even if the temperature eventually returns to a lower level.
